There has been a lifeboat at
Walton-on-the-Naze since 1884, which up until 2005 laid afloat on a
mooring. Now we have a purpose-built berth alongside Walton Pier, which
was officially opened on May 1st 2005 at a cost of approx one million
pounds, which at certain times is open for the public to view.
